The 2012 American Music Awards came to a close late Sunday night with Psy and MC Hammer performing a mash up of 'Gangnam Style' and '2 Legit 2 Quit'. The night featured Justin Bieber cleaning up the competition including winning the final award for 'Artist of the Year'.

Swizz Beatz performance of 'Everyday Birthday' with Chris Brown and Ludacris was another highlight of the night. Personally, I was more excited by the shoes that Swizz had on instead of the performance.

Weezy was surrounded by a lot of beautiful and talented women in this category, wasn’t he? Nevertheless, Swift expressed a mixture of shock, awe and joy when her name was announced. They like you, Taylor. They really like you. What’s not to like about T. Swift?

Nominations for the American Music Awards were announced today, and British singer Adele leads the pack with four nominations, including Artist of the Year and Favorite Female Artist.

Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Lil Wayne and country group The Band Perry were right behind Adele with three nods apiece. Perry will perform on the show, as will Pitbull.
