The 2012 American Music Awards came to a close late Sunday night with Psy and MC Hammer performing a mash up of 'Gangnam Style' and '2 Legit 2 Quit'. The night featured Justin Bieber cleaning up the competition including winning the final award for 'Artist of the Year'.

Swizz Beatz performance of 'Everyday Birthday' with Chris Brown and Ludacris was another highlight of the night. Personally, I was more excited by the shoes that Swizz had on instead of the performance.

Swizz Beatz has been working with Reebok to bring the brand back to what it was in the '90s. Back in May, Swizz even tweeted a small tease that the Shaquille O'neal Reebok 'Shaqnosis' shoe may be coming out again in 2012. Last night he tore up the stage in those shoes.

Most people probably think they are ugly,  but it's something nostalgic for me. I remember having these shoes as a 6th grader at Highland's Middle School and I thought they were the cooler shoes ever. I even remember watching a lady pick them up at a garage sale a few years later and thinking to myself, "I should keep those and not sell them" even though they didn't fit anymore. Oh well, it looks like Reebok will be re-releasing the 'Shaqnosis' in 2012 with a slight design update. Check out the pics over at Kicks On Fire.
