I spent about 4 hours yesterday making Jello shots for the boat race party this weekend, No they are not all for me! I used 3 half gallons of vodka and 14 large boxes of Jello can you guess how many I ended up with?

The 2014 Columbia Cup/Tri-Cities Water Follies is this weekend. This is the biggest event every year in the Tri-Cities, listen in as Kathy Powell shares what to bring and not to bring to the boat races:

Unlimited Hydroplane fans will get to see some of the boats two months early as they scream down the Columbia River today.

I am not kidding you. Here's how I did it:

Free kids tickets to the Lamb Weston Columbia Cup (boat races) and the HAPO Over the River Air show are available at the Guest Services kiosk in front of Macy’s at Columbia Center Mall. They are also available at the Pahlisch Homes office in Creekstone Development on South Edison Street in Kennewick. They can also be found at the Horn Rapids Development on Copperleaf in Richland.

One of the best things about the Water Follies ("Boat Races") is the Air Show! And each year...we get a first hand peak at all the jets as they fly over the river in front of our building! We gathered in the parking lot and tried to capture a few shots with our iphones...
