A 35-year-old man whose past includes drug possession, eluding police and vehicle theft is now a suspect in a fatal shooting, but he's nowhere to be found.

According to news sources, several law enforcement agencies are now investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred early Saturday morning.

All the necessary pieces appear to be in place, now it's likely just up to the OSAA (Oregon Schools Activities Association) to determine if Hermiston will move North sports-wise and join the Mid Columbia Conference.

After January 29th, Hermiston officials will have a much clearer idea if their desire to join the Mid Columbia Conference will happen. And according to sources, the plan has "100%" support and approval from the 7 Tri-City high schools and Walla Walla.
