Singing

A rule to live by, go for it. Always. Even when you're scared. Even when it's uncomfortable because the good stuff is in that sweet spot when you learn to let go.

I went to visit my son and his girlfriend in Austin, Texas, last week. The weather was beautiful and 6th Street was hopping! We stopped at a place called "The Blind Pig" where "The Naked Elvis" performs weekly. Angie Vazquez and her band, Los Vazquez Sounds, have people all over buzzing about their cover of Adele‘s ‘Rolling in the Deep’ — 1.16 million to be exact.

I have to say…My heart goes out to her! She is a fabulous vocalist and actress! And she certainly has proven herself a million times over. A split second mess up and the wrong thing came out of her mouth. She had no choice but to keep going.  Poor thing! I’m sure she feels awful!  I am,  however suprised at the people willing to ridicule her so harshly. We all make mistakes…I’m just sayin’!! Read
