Watch a Guy Prank People at a Grocery Store — By Paying for Their Groceries

There’s a guy named Andrew Hale who does internet pranks and weird video experiments.  His latest one is kind of holiday-themed . . . he secretly paid for people’s groceries right before they checked out, then filmed their reactions.

He doesn’t reveal that it was him, and it’s definitely interesting to see people become emotional when they get a nice surprise.

But as one commenter pointed out:  Why pay for people who were already prepared to buy the stuff?  Like, wouldn’t it be better to buy groceries for people who straight-up couldn’t afford them?  Still . . . it’s nice to see a good-natured prank once in a while.
