23 Million Yr Old Tooth Found in Washington State
Washington's history is fascinating when you think about the creatures that once roamed and swam here. The incredible lava flows that left our amazing basalt rocks, Kennewick Man and the dinosaur dig in south Kennewick are just some of the wonders.
Now comes word of a new find. It's a tooth that is estimated to be 23 million years old. You can see the size of next to that Bic pen. That must have been one mean looking prehistoric shark-like critter! This was discovered in Aberdeen, WA.
