Nothing beats the winter blues like a game day between two awesome teams, plenty of delicious food options and your besties to keep you company!

Football Sunday is all about hearty, crowd-pleasing dishes that are easy to share and enjoy while watching the game.

Washington Seafood makes good snacks

Since Washington State is known for its fresh seafood, local produce, and craft beer culture, I thought I'd share some recipe ideas that incorporate regional flavors and are perfect for a football-filled Sunday!

You'll have to look up the recipes yourself (I can't do all the work) haha, but this way you can choose the ones that suit you best! But here ya go!

Scrumptious, Snacks, and Crowd pleasers

1. Dungeness Crab Dip: A creamy, cheesy dip made with fresh Dungeness crab, a Pacific Northwest favorite. Serve with crusty bread or crackers.

2. Smoked Salmon Crostini: Top toasted baguette slices with cream cheese, smoked salmon (a Washington staple), capers, and a sprinkle of dill.

3. Washington Apple and Brie Bites: Slice local apples (like Honeycrisp or Cosmic Crisp), pair with brie cheese, and drizzle with honey on crostini or crackers.

4. Beer-Battered Fried Pickles: Use a local craft beer for the batter and serve with ranch or spicy aioli for dipping.

Main Dishes

5.  Pulled Pork Sliders with Washington Apple Slaw:  Slow-cooked pulled pork topped with a tangy Slaw.

Whatever you decide to do on Sunday, enjoy some great food and company!
