As the storm moved through Tuesday night, strong winds blew the roof off the U.S. Postal Service mail storage building located at the Spokane Airport, leading to flooding and likely to delays in mail deliveries.

Letters are being temporarily routed to Seattle and packages have been sent to post offices around the Spokane area for sorting, according to Ernie Swanson, a spokesman with the USPS, if you live in the Spokane area expect a delay of at least two days. Swanson does not expect this delay to interfere with the Holiday shipping season.

The same facility also lost its roof during the November 17 storm.
