Apple Harvest Begins in the Northwest — Time for Apple Pie [VIDEO]

I saw a story this morning on a local television station that the 2013 apple harvest is officially under way. This will be the second year in a row with record crop yields according to the Associated Press. My mind immediately drifted off to homemade apple pie. I personally have never made a homemade apple but how hard could it be.
