A man is behind bars on an investigative hold for a burglary on Sunday night. The story unfolds involving all three Tri-Cities Police Departments and various charges.

Police say Arnoldo Ortiz-Montes De Oco was originally being investigated for stalking/harassing a person with whom he has a history of domestic violence. The victim works in Kennewick and lives in Pasco. The suspect was gone after Kennewick Police were called out to a complaint involving the victim.

Later in the evening, Pasco Police were called to investigate an incident where the suspect allegedly entered the same victim's apartment without permission and assaulted another person with whom he also has a history of domestic violence. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.

This is where the suspect loses his luck. At about 3 am Monday, Richland Police arrested Ortiz-Montes De Oco for DUI after officers found him passed out in a running vehicle. He was booked into the Benton County Jail.

After being notified that the Benton County Jail was set to release the suspect, Pasco Police rolled on in and shuttled him over to the Franklin County Jail for the burglary.

Team-work gets the job accomplished. Both victims, I'm sure, are grateful that the suspect is back in custody.

Pasco Police would like to speak with anyone who may have information about the Pasco burglary. Please call them at 509-628-0333.
