Boater Camp Fire Threatens Sasquatch Music Festival!

A Level 3 evacuation notice was issued for the Old Vantage Highway and the Frenchman Coulee Recreation Area for hikers and boaters who might have been in the area.

Imagine if the fire had continued on to the Sasquatch music festival, it would have taken hours to evacuate a crowd there for the concert.

A very scary situation! And certainly a wake up call for Grant County!

So lets everyone be very careful!

I read something today, from the Oregon Dept of Forestry, that talked about even the time of day that you mow your lawn could contribute to a fire.
