41-year old Buddy Byron McKenzie, the Richland man, accused of shooting a woman at Legends Casino earlier this month was shot and killed by Idaho Deputies in Bannock County.

According to the Bannock County Sheriff's Office, On Wednesday, October 13th, McKenzie fired multiple gunshots at Police and led them on a pursuit for about 20 minutes. McKenzie presented a lethal threat and Deputies responded.

McKenzie had an active arrest warrant for attempted first and second degree murder. McKenzie was accused of shooting his ex-girlfriend at Legends Casino in Toppenish on Monday, October 4th. On that date, Yakima County Sheriff's deputies were called out to the report of a woman shot in the parking lot. They found a woman with a gunshot wound to her head and torso. The woman was transported to a hospital.
