An early morning crash on Canal Drive in Kennewick may have been alcohol-related according to the Kennewick Police Department.

The two-vehicle accident happened at 2:15 AM on October 9th. Kennewick Police responded to the accident and discovered that a 17-year-old male was at fault and believed to be driving under the influence.

On 10-9-20 at about 2:15 am, KPD Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision in the 2100 block of W Canal Dr. During the investigation, it was determined that one of the drivers, a 17-year-old juvenile male, was not only at fault for the collision but was also driving under the influence. The 17-year-old was arrested and booked into the Benton/Franklin Juvenile Detention Center for the alleged crime of DUI. Luckily, no one was injured during this incident.
