Mass shootings in El Paso, TX, and Dayton, OH, took place over the weekend -- leaving at least 29 dead and even more injured. The two events shook the United States, especially because they occurred in less than 24 hours and only a week after a the shooting at the Gilroy Garlic Festival in California.

As the number of mass shootings in the United States has risen to just over 250 in this year alone, more and more people are speaking up and pushing for lawmakers and the President Donald Trump to put an end to the gun violence.

Cardi B expressed her feelings on how various politicians were responding to the mass shootings. And when a fan told her to stay out of politics and stick to her musical lane, the "Money" and "Press" rapper didn't hesitate to speak her mind.

The shooting in Dayton really hit home for Lizzo since she has family there. While they were safe, she couldn't help but share her thoughts about some of the hopelessness she's starting to feel with all the violence happening in America.

Bebe Rexha wanted to do more than just share how she felt about the mass shootings. She wanted to give her fans and anyone who happened to see her tweet more information on how to take some action. She, along with many other celebrities, started tagging their social media posts with @Everytown, which "is a movement of Americans working together to end gun violence and build safer communities" that started in February 2011.
