According to a report on KEPR NEWS:

Pendleton Police say rumors are circulating online that a child was taken, and that is inaccurate.

The Pendleton PD also say there are no reports of abducted children in Pendleton at this time.

I tried to find the source of this misleading information but was unable to do so, and happy to know that no children are abducted or missing in the area.
