Chinook Pass to Close for the Winter on Thursday

State Route 410 over Chinook Pass will close at 10 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 21), according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

Chinook closes annually around this time of year and will reopen again in the spring, typically sometime in April.

According to WSDOT, Chinook Pass will close "between Crystal Mountain Boulevard, about 12 miles northwest of the summit, and Morse Creek, five miles east of the summit." The gates will be closed on 410 at 10 a.m.

Cayuse Pass will also close at 10 a.m. Thursday. More details here.
