Did You Know… Mid Columbia Town is Home to Portland’s Garbage?

This just makes me angry!Every day 50 trucks drive 2.5 hours to dump trash in Arlington, Oregon's landfill (75 minutes from Kennewick). It employs 5% of people in town and funds the counties roads and economic development. It's in the news because Portland's trash authority is considering ending the contract in 2019.
