Stanfield, OR, police had quite the laugh a couple of nights ago.

Officer Jenson was on patrol near Bard Park in Stanfield when he got a call about a drunk man trying to buy a car from several people who were in the park area.

Jenson located the suspect, who then offered HIM a "trillion" dollars if he could drive his patrol car to Portland.

When Officer Jensen tried to get his name the suspect gave him several, mostly made up of profanity.

Finally, he learned the suspect, 42-year-old Stanley Dale James Jr., was wanted on an outstanding felony probation warrant.

Jensen didn't say if the suspect mentioned why he needed to get to Portland, but the trip he got was south instead of west to the county jail in Pendleton.

No word if he actually had the trillion bucks on his person.
