A suspect is still being sought in an early morning robbery at the Kennewick 7-Eleven.

Kennewick Police are still looking for a suspect that robbed the Kennewick 7-Eleven early this morning on 5/27/21. The suspect is still being sought in connection with the robbery.

In a press release from the Kennewick Police Department, this is how the incident went down:

Early this morning at approximately 0148 hours, officers were dispatched to a business alarm located at 3606 W. Clearwater Avenue, 7-Eleven. Further information obtained while officers were en route to the alarm revealed that the store clerk had just been robbed.

Officers arrived in the area and set up containment as it was believed the suspect had fled on foot. Kennewick Police K-9 Ivan responded to the location and initiated a track in an attempt to locate the robbery suspect. The suspect was not located.

The suspect did not display any weapons or make any threats. The store clerk was uninjured. Photos of the suspect are not being released at this time, as this is an ongoing investigation.
