7 small earthquakes ranging from 3.2-5.6 on the richter scale rattled the Oregon coast tuesday morning...does this mean the big one is coming?

Scientists and experts on earthquakes say...NO however they do say the Cascadia Subduction Zone plates are active and moving.

The seven quakes were recorded about 130 miles west of Gold Beach, Ore., Tuesday morning and about 6 miles deep.

According to scientists the last major quake to rattle the Cascadia was over 300 years ago and say there is a 1 in 3 chance of a major quake in the next 50 years!
