Ephrata Man Hopes Jury Believes ‘Coughing’ Put His DNA at Murder Scene
An Ephrata man is on trial for smothering his 82-yr-old landlady with a pillow.
He says he went to pay his rent, and a coughing fit put his DNA at the crime scene.
Police say she had shortly before told him she was evicting his family.
