Popular Comedian Eric Schwartz Returns to Washington with a Show in Richland
Every time the multitalented comedian, Eric Schwartz, comes to town, his fans get very excited. If you are one of such fans, then get ready to become very excited! A comedy show in Richland has been announced and Eric Schwartz is going to be performing there next week!
WHO IN THE WORLD IS ERIC SCHWARTZ?
If you don't know about Eric, he first became extremely popular with his cult-classic hit, "Lean Like a Gringo". I had heard about the song during my early years of moving to Yakima and working on 107.3 KFFM where I was a morning show co-host. I remember playing "Lean Like A Gringo" during a segment on my show and it made me laugh so much! I became an instant fan of Eric's and even convinced one of my best friends to ride with me up to see him perform a comedy show in Seattle.
WHAT HAS ERIC SCHWARTZ BEEN UP TO THESE DAYS?
Eric has been very busy lately gearing up for his upcoming comedy special which he will be filming in Los Angeles in August. He has a popular podcast and most recently went on tour opening up for comedian Jo Koy, who was Eric's very first guest on his podcast (you can listen to it here).
ISN'T ERIC SCHWARTZ THE GUY WHO SINGS THAT SONG ABOUT YAKIMA?
During one of his first visits to the Yakima Valley, Eric reached out to locals here and asked for input on what makes Yakima Valley special. He turned those answers into a new local hit music video, "Yakima", which uses the music of the song, "Africa", by the classic hits 80s band, Toto.
Since his last visit to the Yakima Valley in Perham Hall in Zillah a couple of years ago, Eric has been busy becoming a self-proclaimed "Multicomedian". He has been fine-tuning his comedy set and incorporating his many skills with DJing and the use of cool visual elements and music. He is truly a "multi-dimensional showman." I hope you go see his performance in the Tri-Cities!
