Farmers Almanac Predicts a ‘Normal’ Winter For The Basin this Year
If you're a fan of the Old Farmers Almanac you may like the forecast for the Pacific Northwest or more specifically the Columbia Basin forecast.
The Almanac is calling for a Polar Coaster for most of the country east of the Rocky Mountains, and a wet winter along the west coast, but fairly normal winter conditions for the inland Columbia Basin.
They predicts snow for our region to be normal with most of the snow coming in late December to late January and early February.
Take into account these weather predictions are made up to two years in advance. i don't recall and predictions of the snowmegeddon we had in February and March this year, so who knows maybe we'll skate by with a mild winter this year...if not I'm moving to Florida!
