It is a tradition across the nation to publish which baby is born 1st for the new year. This year the honor goes to a baby girl born weighing in at 6 pounds 10 1/2 ounces and born at 2:16 am January 1st 2019
Tri-Cities New Year's Babies 2019
- 2:16 a.m.: Baby Katherine, 6 lbs 10 1/2 oz. Born to Heisy Tejada of Pasco.
- 2:23 a.m.: Baby Benjamin, 6 lbs 6 oz. Born to Maisey and James Stein of Pasco.
- 7:42 a.m.: Baby Sofia at Trios, to Maria Miranda and Javier Guizar.
Incidentally baby Girl Katherine's family received a $50 gift card, blanket and stuffed bear from the community, and a lifetime of bragging rights!
