Footprints in the Snow Lead to Arrest of Pasco Burglary Suspect
A Kennewick man is in jail charged with burglary after Pasco Police located the suspect by following his footprints.
32-year-old Ryan Russell Watson was arrested at about 4:30 am Saturday at 20th and Sylvester after a reported burglary nearby, in the 300 block of North 23rd.
Residents witnessed the suspect, who was wearing red sweatpants in their backyard. An air compressor was unplugged and moved. After the residents confronted Watson, he took off.
Officers arriving at the residence had seen the suspect on their way in. Due to the snow, Police were able to follow Watson's trail of steps. They showed he made his way over several vehicles and sheds in the neighborhood.
Officers finally located Watson and he was booked into the Franklin County Jail for Burglary Second Degree.
