Funny Money Being Passed at Tri-Cities Businesses

Kennewick police were called out to a motel over the weekend after a woman reportedly tried to pay for a room with fake $20's

It happened at the Econo Lodge on Ely in Kennewick Saturday May 13th when a woman tried to rent a room and gave the motel clerk fake bills! The alert clerk asked the woman for ID she then fled the scene.

KPD is warning the public to check all bills at this time!
