
Female Injured in Grant County Shooting-Deputies Investigating
The Grant County Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting that happened Thursday night. Police are looking for a black 4-door sedan. The incident is a very sketchy situation that took place on the road just before 11 pm.

According to a statement:
"The victim's vehicle was traveling south on SR-17 when a vehicle merged from the I-90 off-ramp and came up alongside the victim's vehicle. A male passenger of the merging vehicle made a gun-pointing hand gesture at the victims.
The suspect vehicle with headlights off then followed the victim's vehicle south on SR-17 to about Road 3-Southeast when a bullet was fired by occupants of the suspect vehicle, shattering the rear window of the victim's car. The suspect vehicle continued south on SR-17. Evidence collected confirms a bullet was fired."
"A female passenger in the victim's vehicle was struck by glass fragments. Her injuries are non-life-threatening. The victims say they do not know the occupants of the suspect vehicle."
Grant County Deputies are on the lookout for the black 4-door sedan and occupants of the vehicle.
One passenger in the suspect vehicle was described as male, Hispanic, and heavy-set.
