Hermiston Woman Gets Hair Done, Then Dashes On the Bill!

She allegedly fled the beauty salon to avoid paying $100, then had a nice steak dinner and jumped that bill, too!

"Thief Goes to Jail

"The Hermiston Police Department normally does not highlight people that commit minor thefts, but today we are as Lynzee Crane, 20 years of age, of Hermiston, decided to negatively impact two local businesses.

Crane is alleged to have gone into The Styling Arena, located 175 W Hermiston Avenue, around 6PM to get her hair colored. Crane concocted a story about needing to retrieve money from her vehicle to pay for the $100 service. Crane went outside and did not return.

A short time later our department received a call from Stockman’s Restaurant, located 1530 N 1st Street, that Crane had left their establishment without paying for $53 worth of food. Crane used a similar story as before and fled once outside.

Hermiston officers located Crane at a residence in Umatilla and promptly charged her with two counts of theft before lodging her in the Umatilla County Jail.

Crane also had a couple of unrelated warrants for her arrest."
