Higher Gas Bills On The Way If Rate Increase Is Approved

Residents might be paying more for natural gas if a rate increase requested by Cascade Gas to the Washington Utilities Commission.

Residents look to be shouldering the cost of infrastructure upgrades that Cascade Gas has implemented over the last few years.

The average bill could increase by 5.5%, totally $12.7 million in new revenue for Cascade Gas.

For the average customer, you could see your bill raise roughly about $2.83 or about $38 annually.
