It's happened again at Howard Amon Park in Richland...The musical instruments have been vandalized.

I can't imagine what kind of person who thinks vandalizing the park is a cool thing but this has to stop.

The mallets got cut off the musical instruments last night.

Park Ranger Jason Janosky said that lock cutters removed the mallets off the instruments.

This is the 2nd time the instruments have been vandalized. Someone stole the imbarimba back in September 2016 which eventually ended up on the internet for sale for $20.

The City is ordering new mallets.

You can check out more details on the thefts here.
