I know plastic surgery is BIG in California. However, a new study out reveals that Washington is the state where plastic surgery is most searched.

Believe It or Not, the Most Searched Procedure in the Country Is the Brazilian Butt Lift.

In the study, conducted by Breast Reduction Surgeons of Long Island, 300 key words and phrases regarding cosmetic surgery were analyzed over the past year.

I would've thought breast augmentation and nose jobs would be the most popular procedures. What do I know?

Washington is #1 for Most Interest in Cosmetic Procedures

Keywords related to cosmetic surgeries showed that the most popular procedure Washingtonians are most interested in, is the Brazilian butt lift. It's a procedure that takes fat from other areas to enhance the shape and size of the buttocks.

The breast lift is second most popular, followed by blepharoplasty, which is a procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the eyelids.

California ranks second for most interest in cosmetic procedures, followed by New York, Utah, and Nevada.

Dr. Ari Hoschander, Head Plastic Surgeon at Breast Reduction Surgeons of Long Island, commented, “Cosmetic procedures have become increasingly accessible and widely discussed, leading to a significant shift in how they are perceived and therefore a normalization of these treatments among both public figures and the general population. What stands out is that Washington, not California or Florida, leads the country. This may reflect the growing accessibility of procedures in the Pacific Northwest and a shift away from the traditional cosmetic surgery hotspots."
