From the photos released from the scene, that outcome is really fortunate.

White Work Truck Destroyed in the Ditch on I-82

The photos from the scene show how violent this rollover was. A white work truck, the kind built to carry tools and equipment with multiple storage compartments along the sides, took significant damage on every panel from rolling.

The front grille is completely missing, and damage wraps around the entire vehicle from front to back.

The most striking detail in the photo is the truck bed itself, with the compartmentalized equipment bed separated completely from the truck and lying perpendicular behind it, sticking out from the passenger side at a 90-degree angle.

The Response and the Investigation

Benton County Fire District 1 crews responded alongside Washington State Patrol to the scene and transported one patient to the hospital.

WSP is actively investigating the collision, and the cause of the crash has not yet been released.
