Seattle Seahawks fans are feeling a mix of excitement and nerves as the countdown to the 2026 NFL season continues.

A new survey suggests that while many members of the 12s are a little anxious about what's ahead, most still believe this team has what it takes to play for a championship.

Seahawks Fans Believe a Super Bowl Run Is Possible

According to a new survey from TradeHandle.com, 68% of Seahawks fans believe Seattle will reach Super Bowl LXI.

The most common prediction among Seahawks fans is a Chiefs vs. Seahawks matchup in the big game, which is interesting because they play each other in Seattle during the regular season.

Across all 32 NFL fan bases, most respondents predicted the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams will meet in Super Bowl LXI, scheduled for February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in California.

Confidence doesn't mean Seahawks fans are completely relaxed.

The survey found that 41% of Seahawks fans admit they're nervous about the upcoming season. That's actually better than the national average, where 56% of NFL fans said they're worried about how their favorite team will perform this year.

The term "fanxiety" describes those preseason jitters that show up before a single regular-season snap has been played in fans.

Expectations Are High This Season in Seattle

With Seattle entering the season as the defending Super Bowl champions, expectations are very sky-high. Most fans are hoping the team can build on last year's success and make another deep playoff run.

The TradeHandle survey was conducted in July 2026 and included responses from 3,000 football fans across the United States, measuring preseason anxiety and expectations for the upcoming NFL season.
