The Okanogan County Sheriff's Office was called about the man on Monday, now they're turning to the public.
Deceased Man Found in Okanogan River
Monday, around 1:30 PM (June 8) the OCSO was called to the Okanogan River near the unincorporated area known as Malott, population about 800 17 miles southwest of Okanogan, and north of Brewster.

Some citizens found a deceased man floating in the water, but Deputies said due to his condition, immediate identification was not possible. He was described as 6 feet tall, about 200 lbs with facial hair.
The One Clue Might be Tattoo
The man had a distinctive tattoo on his left shoulder, but even it was a little worn, likely due to the time he'd been in the river. The OCSO was not sure how long, the Coroner plans an autopsy. The OCSO did not immediately say if any missing persons' reports matched this victim.
Officials didn't say if the man had any personal effects on his body, anyone who may have information is urged to call the Okanogan County Sheriff's Office at (509) 422-7232 opt.4 and reference Case Number S26-03397.
