
9 Kids Arrested for Car Theft in Kennewick
The Tri-City Herald today reported that at 10:30 a.m. Kennewick Police were notified of a hit and run in the Barnes & Noble store at Columbia Center Mall. A Richland Police officer “just happened to be on Columbia Center Boulevard” and found the suspected truck. He ran the license plate and learned the truck the was stolen from Franklin County. He followed it to the Kennewick Target store where Kennewick Police arrived in the parking lot and pursued the nine kids, four of whom were girls. Some were from Kennewick, some from Pasco. All nine will be charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.
