A man and woman are in jail after Kennewick Police caught the pair with stolen items they had just taken from an unoccupied house.

On Thursday, at about 6:30 pm, Police responded to a call of two people entering a home in the 500 block of West Kennewick Avenue. When officers arrived, they saw the suspects leaving through the back of the house into the alley.

Officers apprehended 59-year old David Jones and 43-year old Jennifer Briones. After investigation, it was determined the pair had stolen items from the residence.

Jones and Briones were booked into the Benton County Jail for Residential Burglary. Both may be facing additional charges for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. And Briones is being investigated for the possibility of stolen checks in her possession.
