Kennewick Police Investigate Woman Being Shot At Local Bar
Kennewick Police and the Kennewick Fire Department were kept busy this weekend with an early morning call concerning an assault at a local bar.
In a press release from the Kennewick Police Department, KPD and the Kennewick Fire Department responded to a call at 3 City Sports Bar on West Columbia Drive.
According to the release, here are the details of the case:
This morning at approximately 12:07 am, Kennewick Police Officers were dispatched to an assault with a weapon located at 3 City Sports Bar (900 W. Columba Drive). Multiple 911-callers stated that at least one person had been shot. Officers arrived at the scene and located an adult female with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Officers began rendering aid to the victim. The Kennewick Fire Department responded to the location and subsequently transported the female to an area hospital for further treatment.
According to the report, shortly after arriving at the scene officers learned that there was an additional adult male victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The male victim had checked into an area hospital for treatment.
KPD says no arrests were made in the incident and they believe it to be an isolated incident. KPD is also looking for information on this open investigation.
