Kiwanis Donates 156 Trauma Teddies to Richland EMS!

Good works are being done right here in the Tri-Cities. The Kiwanis Club of the Tri-Cities recently awarded a grant of $1000 to the Richland EMS. 

The Richland EMS are using the grant to purchase 156 Trauma Teddies! The EMS services uses the bears to comfort children on EMS and Fire-related calls.

The teddies are detrimental to the hard work that the EMS crews do for the community so this is a great and well needed donation.

The Richland EMS also wants to remind folks that several people have visited their stations to donate stuffed animals, they can't accept used stuffed animals due to allergy/asthma safety concerns.
