Lead Foot Alert: Hanford Route 4 South Under Watch

You know the highway out near Hanford? You can normally zip along without a care in the world but Benton County Sheriff's Department is taking extra precautions and will be conducting extra patrols in the area so beware.

We all know the area and its easy to not watch your speed out on Route 4 but Benton County Sheriff's are conducting a traffic emphasis on Route 4 South.

They are specifically looking for speeding, seatbelt, and cell phone violations and are encouraging drivers to slow down when traveling through the area.

I know I've been pulled over outside of Richland multiple times because the speed limit drops dramatically outside of Horn Rapids and the minute you're not paying attention is when you'll get pulled over.
