Major Flooding/Slides Closes Highway 12 in Both Directions [PHOTO]

Wow some bad new for travelers of U.S. 12 (HWY12) the road is closed in both directions because of significant flooding,rock and mud slides causing portions of the road to wash away.

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) says U.S. 12 is closed in both directions to a mud slide.

WSDOT reports the closure goes from milepost 138 on U.S. 12 near the intersection of SR 123 and U.S. 12 to milepost 183 near the Oak Creek Feeding Station.
