Miley Cyrus and Shawn Mendes are teaming up on new music.

The pair are due to drop their new single "in the coming weeks," according to a report from TMZ. It's the first time Cyrus and Mendes have teamed up musically. Their new single is expected to be featured on Cyrus' forthcoming album.

Fans first began speculating about the collaboration on Tuesday, after Cyrus, 26, posted a photo from Grammys rehearsals. She was seen posing in front of guitars and amps, which was no big deal to most who saw the photo. Some, with more keen eyes, noticed Mendes' guitar in the background, which got fans' wheels turning. His name also appears to be written on another piece of equipment.

Cyrus' fans have been looking forward to new music from her since she announced her new album. They, along with Mendes' fans, are looking forward to hearing the new song, which will apparently be performed at the Grammys.

You'll just have to tune in to the show to find out. The Grammys will take place Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. ET.
