New Kennewick Thrift Store Open and Accepting Donations
There's a new thrift store in town. Jenny's Thrift Store hosted its grand opening last Friday, at 108 Vista Way in Kennewick.
A 2019 graduate of Hanford High School, Jennifer Lopez had originally planned to go into the Navy. When that didn't work out, Jennifer worked with her family to open the business.
It was something on the agenda for a few years and eventually came to fruition.
There's a variety of clothing, books, toys, home goods, and more at the store, which is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am till 6 pm.
Jennifer is hoping to help the homeless this winter, by donating to Tri-Cities area shelters.
If you'd like to join the effort, donations of boots, shoes, hats, gloves, and coats can be dropped off at the store.
New toiletries will also be accepted. The list of items needed includes toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, shampoo, conditioner, and hygiene products.
Jennifer was recently featured on TV station KAPP/KVEW.
