They're calling it "mutant lice." It is resistant to current over-the-counter medications. One grandma had enough when her daughter's boyfriend gave it to her grandkids.

The lice in many states, including Washington, have mutated so much there are many now resistant to the insecticides available at local pharmacies.

This has made many parents increasingly paranoid and wary about their kids attracting lice.

One grandma in Florida contemplated killing the man who gave her grandkids lice.

It was her 33-year-old daughter's 22-year-old boyfriend (who was also, apparently, homeless).

Not willing to pull the trigger herself, she called the children's father, her former son-in-law, and suggested he do it! She promised to provide the gun, and suggested places to hide the body.

But the man called the cops instead.
