Kennewick Man Apprehended With Stolen Gun & Drugs
A 23-year-old Kennewick man is behind bars after police arrested him for Possession of a Stolen Firearm and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute.
Oscar Manzo-Garcia was taken into custody Saturday morning at Grigg's in Pasco after a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, Pasco Police detained Manzo-Garcia after he was found to have a felony warrant out of Benton County.
After a search, police discovered blue pills in Manzo-Garcia's possession. The pills are consistent with the appearance of recent "Mexi" fentanyl pills found in the Tri-Cities area. Manzo-Garcia was also found to have a pistol magazine and set of car keys. Officers soon located the vehicle and had it towed for a search warrant.
A search of the vehicle turned up more blue "Mexi" fentanyl pills and the pistol corresponding to the magazine that was found on Manzo-Garcia.
The vehicle was also reported stolen out of Kennewick.
Manzo-Garcia was booked into the Franklin County Jail on investigative holds for Possession of a Stolen Firearm and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.
