Our ‘Santa Picture’ Experience Went Smoother This Year

If you didn't know, I've got two kiddos. Kaelyn is 6, and Taytem is 2. We've been doing Santa pics every year. Last year's pic was definitely a memorable one. As you can see, Taytem is TERRIFIED of the man in the beard.

This year, in the weeks leading up to our annual Santa visit, she was super confident that she wouldn't cry. She was excited to see him and would ask about Santa literally every single day.  Well, when the day came, her confidence was high... until she spotted Santa as we were prepping for the picture.  You can tell she WANTED to not cry, but it was tough for her. It was so cute. What you don't see in the pic are the tears that were shed as we attempted to put her on his lap. She finally calmed down enough for us to get a decent pic. Check it out:
