This is pretty stupid, but scientists at the University of Tokyo wanted to create a robot to demonstrate human-machine cooperation systems...whatever that means.

So they built a robotic hand that plays rock-paper-scissors with you...and wins every time.

The robot has high-speed vision that can detect human hand shapes and movements, and can make super-fast decisions about what to throw...rock, paper, or scissors.
