Simply leave a bag of nonperishable food item where you mail is delivered this Saturday and local letter carriers will collect the food and donate it to Tri-City area food banks.
According to the Tri City Herald : last year, Americans donated more than 74 million pounds of food, the 10th consecutive year that at least 70 million pounds were collected.
