The Prosser Boys and Girls Club is turning 10 years old this month and they're celebrating in a huge way!

10 community leaders ware raising money for the organization and programs.  The leaders will be taking part in a dunk tank challenge.

The participant who receives the most pledges will determine which opponent will be sent to the dunk tank.  This will be broadcast live on Facebook on August 31st.

If you'd like to pledge a donation, do so, here.

The leaders taking part in the dunk tank challenge are:  Prosser City Planner Steve Zatz, board members Ben Riley, Beej Hall, Jesse Torres, Rachel Shaw, Prosser Superintendent Matt Ellis, Jessica Sparks of the Prosser Police Department, Prosser Fire Chief Seth Johnson, Chris Cisneros of the Boys and Girls Club, and Kippy Brown from the Boys and Girls Club.

This is going to be a lot of fun, and funds raised will benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties.

The Prosser Boys & Girls Club is a local effort to engage youth in the greater Prosser community in positive activities. With the City of Prosser leading the way, the Prosser School District quickly became a solid partner and a local Advisory Board was formed in January 2010.

As there are space limitations, the Club is serving youth in Grades 1 through 5, although, High School Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors have an opportunity to participate through Mustang Staff.
