You’ll Love Reddit Responses: Looking for a Good Place to Cry!
Life is a journey that we are all in together. Sometimes we need to remember that everything is cyclical. Sometimes life can look bleak for several reasons. Other times we can't imagine how we have it so good! Everything in life is temporary and constantly changing.
It's so helpful when we can be there for each other and help those who struggle when we're strong and vice versa.
I was pleased at the sweet responses to this confession. Words were encouraging:
"Are you up for a drive and hike? I have a really good short, not very well-known hike in Issaquah passed down from my dad. I can send you the coordinates to the “trailhead”
" Have you driven out to the coast? I love the peaceful drive out to La Push. It's insanely quiet, and each time I've been, it's been cloudy and lightly raining. I feel like staring out at the ocean helps make my problems feel much smaller."
'Just wanted to share that I'm sorry you're going through a hard time. Even though I'm a stranger, I'm thinking about you, which means you aren't alone. It's such a cliche, but things will always get better in time. Hang in there."
"Crying is healthy, feeling your feelings is healthy. A pea patch could be a good area, also carkeek and volunteer park are pretty big and I bet you can find a private place to do this. I really hope you feel better soon and you can make it through this storm. Also someone already said it but cemeteries are a great idea also"
Aren't those sweet messages? I'll bet she already feels better just reading those. Never underestimate how much kindness means in our world. It is the one thing you can give freely and easily and makes such a difference!
Is it healthy to let yourself cry
And if you were raised to "Never Cry" let go of that one, because we all know crying is very important and good for your health.
I've never spent much time on Reddit, but I did find this interesting. I love it when humans choose to be supportive and positive rather than troll or be negative and cause contention on platforms like Reddit.
Living in the Tri-Cities, where there are almost no trees it may be difficult to find a private place to contemplate or have a good cry right?
Being in nature is so healing for the soul and preferable to having to just shut the bathroom or bedroom door to find space from family. (Unless you're like me and live alone.) I can cry anytime! lol
We have some nice Walking paths and trails but will probably have passing walkers or cyclists.
Crying is a natural human response to a range of emotions
I appreciate the west side of the mountains for that reason. There are endless trails and woods to wander through or just sit and ponder in. And it's nice there are so many areas near water on the west side.
Don't forget though, we have the Columbia River in our backyard. So find a nice place along the river to sit and relax and let out a good cry if you need to.
The Olympic Forest is one of my favorite places to go. And I love riding my horse on the west side of the mountains. Maple Valley, Taylor Mountain, Tiger Mountain, and Squak Mountain are all my favorites.
No matter where you are if you need a good cry, let yourself and, know you are not alone.
